Just as the dust has settled after another fantastic season at RIASA, we have another exciting announcement to share with you: RIASA will be attending the DoDea Soccer Championships in Kaiserslautern, Germany in two weeks time, 20-22 May 2024!
We are coming to introduce ourselves to the talented student-athletes in the Kaiserslautern Military Community; with several of our current roster also coming from military backgrounds, we realised that there was a potential opportunity to recruit more passionate student-athletes from this area.
Since 2010, RIASA has offered a dual accredited US/UK degree alongside an exciting 9-month soccer season, giving students the chance to maximise their development under world-class coaching in the UK. We believe that our program would be perfect for hundreds of young athletes in the Kaiserslautern Military Community, which is why we will be coming along to the championships.
Make sure to look out for us at the Ramstein & Kaiserslautern Air Base, where we’ll be keeping a close eye on both male and female athletes. Don’t be afraid to come and introduce yourself – look around for a RIASA banner and our blue kit! We want to speak to as many players, parents and coaches as possible – it’s our mission to spread the RIASA word and showcase our fantastic program to promising young athletes.
Our aim is to return to Germany in June to hold an ID event, much like our regular camps in the US. This will allow players and parents to experience a RIASA training session with one of our UEFA licensed coaches – specific dates and locations to follow.
