Former RIASA Graduates Make Debut Appearances for Kemi City Finland

On Saturday 31st July former RIASA students Adam Szymaszek and Victor Davis made their debuts for Kemi City, both playing the full 90 minutes of the game against GBK Kokkola.

Though the match ended in a 2 – 0 loss to Kemi there were positives for both our former student-athletes. Victor played a great first half flying up and down the wing but unfortunately there wasn’t anybody to finish his great left footed crosses.

In the second half with the score equal at 0-0 Adam made a superb penalty save to keep Kemi in the game. However within minutes of the save Kemi conceded another penalty and had a player sent off. On this occasion GBK scored and then taking advantage of Kemi being a man down stole a second goal just 15 minutes from the end whistle.

As always we wait with anticipation for the next result, Kemi now has a fortnight to recover before the next game on Saturday the 14th of August.
