Exceptional achievements of RIASA’s undergraduates recognised at Richmond, The American International University in London Honours Night

Richmond, The American International University in London’s annual awards ceremony, Honours
Night, was held on 16 March 2023 to recognise and celebrate outstanding academic student
achievements, the contribution of the University’s clubs and societies and the leadership of student staff.

Undergraduates from RIASA were well-represented at Honours Night and the following students
attended in-person and were recipients of awards for outstanding academic achievement:

Jordan Franklin (Dean’s List)
Christian Mason (Dean’s List)
Sidh Surana (Dean’s List)
Anna Turner (Dean’s List)
Zachary Zoellner-Krauss (Dean’s List)

Senior student Callum Duff was awarded Best in Major for an undergraduate studying BA
International Sports Management.

In addition to undergraduate awards for outstanding academic achievement, three members of
RIASA student staff attended Richmond University’s Honours Night in recognition of their
contribution to the programme in the current academic year – the RIASA student staff are Ashley
Boniface, Callum Duff, Kamsi Madueke and Jonathan Solanke.

Jonathan Solanke, who will be graduating in Spring 2023, was awarded the RIASA Student
Leadership Award in recognition of his contribution to the programme in the role of student staff
and member of RIASA Student Government. He received his prize from RIASA Student Affairs Co-
ordinator, Kirsty Ibbitson.

Dr Colin Howley, Programme Director of RIASA, commented that,

“we are delighted RIASA students were able to attend in-person at Honours Night in London, especially with award recipients from both the men and inaugural women’s programme, and we are thrilled for RIASA undergraduates who were presented with awards for outstanding academic achievement and leadership.”
