Football for the Goals is an ambitious United Nations initiative that provides a powerful platform for the worldwide football community to connect with and advocate for the SDGs. By capitalizing on the immense influence of football, this initiative unites us as change agents, aligning our messaging, strategies, and operations with the aspirations of the SDGs.
This program serves as an inspiration and guide for every facet of the football world, including confederations, national associations, leagues, clubs, players’ associations, organized fan groups, media, and commercial partners. Its mission is to not only enhance existing sustainability efforts but also to implement strategies aligned with the SDGs, fostering tangible behavioural change.
