Richmond International V Leeds West Academy (29-11-17) (2-2)

 Match Overview:

First Half:

This game was a tale of 2 halves as we started the game very slow which needs addressing,

We were second to the ball on numerous occasions, did not seem prepared to close down the opposition early and press the ball when the opportunity arose.

When we did regain the ball at times, we had no purpose in our play and played ourselves into trouble with sloppy passing in dangerous areas.

We did however created a few chances the best with Mo Sagli, Kelton Stone and Zane Provenzano coming out with credit, we deserved to be (2-0) at half time and fortunately it was only that.

 2nd Half

A lot better second half performance. We showed much more purpose in our play with better cohesion between players link up play and a better work ethic, from all the players especially Zane Provenzano, Cole Dunham and Ricky Jackson making the difference being very influential.

Also much improved performances by Emmanuel Ogundare and Devin Balsz were pleasing to see.

We clearly finished the better stronger and fitter team and clearly deserved the equalizer, and perhaps should have got all 3 points. Although, on reflection, our players preparation for the game could have been improved as we had 5 players without the correct footwear slipping due to the pitch conditions.
