We are thrilled to announce that the RIASA Women’s team have partnered with the Ultimate Football Coaching Academy (UFCA) for the upcoming 2024/25 season.
UFCA are one of the leading independent football academies based in Leeds, developing talent from the age of 6 all the way to their senior teams. Alongside RIASA, UFCA train and compete at Bodington Football Hub making this partnership all the more worthwhile, allowing both of our women’s teams to develop and play together at every opportunity.
As both of our women’s teams are in their early stages, each being founded in the last few years, this collaboration will allow for the creation of a full-sized squad, enhancing development both on and off the pitch. With more regular training sessions as a whole team, our girls will advance their communication and leadership skills whilst building relationships with their teammates.
The squad will be competing in the National Youth League against established academies such as Liverpool, Sheffield Wednesday and Sunderland, creating opportunities to face off against high-level opposition at world-class training facilities.
The women will be training at similar times to our men’s teams, as well as playing home matches at our very own Bodington Football Hub, meaning more complete media coverage in training sessions and competitive games.
