This Season has been an action packed year, with the biggest intake of Freshmen since the start of RIASA in 2010/11, and with retention rates looking the best that they have been in the programs history, we are all looking forward to continuing this success into the future and beyond.
Football Season 2015/16

We have run 4 Lancashire League Teams this season, which has given all RIASA students regular game time, and have competed well against other teams in the league.

Academics

RIASA Students have had an excellent year this year,
with the best attended Honours night to date, as well successes for Carlos Garcia and Joshua Rosenstrauch as they both achieved their BA Degree in International Sports Managment from Richmond University.
After 4 years at RIASA, both Josh and Carlos will be leaving the UK, not only with their highly accredited degree, but both students completed their FA Level 2 in Football Coaching whilst with us in Leeds.
We wish them all the success for their futures.

Life in England – Cultural Experiences

RIASA Freshmen have also experienced much of the cultural side of life in Leeds, with trips to York, Manchester, and Ashbourne, largely through a football perspective, which we hope has enhanced their experience of studying in England, and emphasised how important England regards Football as its National Sport.

RIASA SOUTH Win the 2016 RIASA Cup

The 2nd Annual RIASA Cup was held this year on Tuesday 26th April, where all RIASA League teams battled it out against each other, as well as guest opponents Leicester City Internationals, whom RIASA had played earlier in the Season.

By the final game, RIASA East were unfortunately playing for pride alone, as they had lost their 2 earlier matches, however they put in an excellent final effort to lose (3-4), after some great play and goals by Leonard Pauer, Essam Nicola, and Adam Kmiec

At this stage, Bradford RIASA, were in the lead with 2 wins, and Leicester City Intnls and RIASA South, both had 1 win so there was all to play for in the final round.
