Reach Your Maximum Potential
RIASA student athletes usually train 4/5 times per week at Leeds Beckett Headingley campus. The training schedule varies, depending on when we play competitive games.
At our football academy training is intense and demanding on players, we train hard and our philosophy is 'you must train how you play', meaning it’s not just a kick about. We make the most out of each session and push our academy players to their maximum potential.
The professional licensed coaches who manage training make sure sessions are put together to help you achieve your goals,
push your fitness, and help you improve tactically. The training sessions will help you as a player develop physically and mentailly.
We also carry out regular strength training and fitness tests which are carried out by the team Physio and Strength & Conditioning coach. These fitness tests are conducted in a professional manner throughout the programme and will help you understand your abilities and the results of your hard work and commitment.
