Stalybridge Celtic V Bradford RIASA (6-10-17) (0-4)

First Half:

The game started at a good speed with both teams looking to attack.

As the game progressed, Bradford started to take control and looked a real threat going forward.

The first goal came when Walter Egli rifled the ball into the top corner after some terrific wide play from Victor Davis.

(0-1)

With the game approaching half-time, Bradford scored again with substitute Riley Harbour scoring within minutes of being on the pitch.

(0-2)

Half Time (0-2)

Stalybridge started the second half looking to get back into the game, but we defended resolutely and limited them to only half chances.
After the initial spell of pressure had wavered, Bradford settled into the second half and started playing with a real tempo and was creating lots of chances, but also defending strongly from the counter attack.

At 80 minutes, Riley Harbour got his second when he got his head on the end of another quality cross from Victor Davis.

Bradford were in total control of the game and were creating chances at will, getting the fourth goal with Jari El showing good composure in the box to convert after some good play from Colin Clarke.

The team was clinical in the second half but also very organised and fully deserved the cleansheet and the three points.

This was the best performance of the season so far, against a strong opposition who before the game was top of the league and unbeaten.
